Shuckers Vs. Pensacola Blue Wahoos

The Biloxi Shuckers fell short against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in the first of a five game series.

Jose Ortega took the loss for Biloxi, allowing one run and giving up six hits.

Pensacola’s Daniel Wright gave up just one hit in five innings of work, a performance which resulted in a five nothing shutout for the Blue Wahoos.

This was the first time Biloxi has failed to put a run on the board this season.

The Shuckers will look to get back into the win column tonight in game two against the Blue Wahoos at 6:40pm.
