Shuckers Push for the Post Season

It looks like the Biloxi Shuckers are clawing their way back into the Southern League playoff picture.
After a rocky start to the second half of the 2016 season, the Shuckers heated up last week, going on a five game win streak before dropping a game to the Chattanooga Lookouts.
Tonight, Biloxi took game one of a double header with the Jackson Generals. They currently lead the Generals 6-1 in game two, thanks in part to a Nick Ramirez homerun in the second inning.
If the Shuckers hold on to win, they’ll be a half-game ahead of the Mississippi Braves for the wildcard spot.
