Negro League Tribute Night at MGM Park

The Biloxi Shuckers took a page out of history tonight, wearing throwback jerseys as a part of Negro League Tribute Night.
The Shuckers and the Jacksonville Suns took the field in Jerseys from an era before Jackie Robinson broke baseball’s color barrier.
Members of Biloxi’s former Negro League team, the Biloxi Dodgers, were on hand and were very moved to finally see baseball back in their city, this time for everyone.
The Shuckers will play game five of their series against Jacksonville at home tomorrow. First pitch is slated for 7:10 p.m.
