Shuck Cancer Benefit Party for cancer survivors

The Coast community has gathered to lead the way in the fight against cancer in South Mississippi and honor cancer patients and survivors in the process.

The 2025 Shuck Cancer Party took place at Mississippi Aquarium.

Healthcare Heroes in the fight against cancer were honored as well as caregivers and survivors.

Funds raised from last night’s silent auction go directly towards the American Cancer Society’s mission here in South Mississippi through efforts like lodging, transportation, and financial assistance for cancer patients and their families as they go through treatment.

This year’s Shuck Cancer ambassador were recognized for their fundraising efforts this year on the Coast and our very own Grant Chighizola served as the emcee.
