Shrimp Season Opens On Monday

The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources announced shrimp season will open on Monday. Recreational and commercial shrimp season will open at 6 a.m. on June 6th and close at midnight on December 31st. All boats engaged in catching of transporting shrimp from Mississippi waters must be licensed or permitted by the Department of Marine Resources.
