Show Prepares People For Hurricanes

Hurricane season is here and just in case a natural disaster rolls in it doesn’t hurt to be ready.

The home garden and hurricane preparedness show went on this weekend at Edge-Water Mall in Biloxi educating the public about what they can do to prepare for severe weather.

The event was also geared towards home-owners, with exhibits, demonstrations and ideas on remodeling and protecting houses.

The show’s operations manager tells News 25 it’s important for people to know what to do in case a hurricane hits especially if they have special medical needs.
