Shots fired from road rage incident closes I-10 eastbound

An incident on I-10 in Jackson County leaves the eastbound lanes blocked. The incident happened near Mile Marker 53.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Spokesman Landon Orozco confirms there was a shooting involved, stemming from a road rage incident.

The interstate was re-opened about 5:30 p.m. but law enforcement was still in the area.
