Shooting victim identified as Gulfport man

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove has identified the victim of Tuesday’s fatal shooting in Gulfport as 38-year-old Michael Lossett.

Twenty-three year-old Sandra Goff was arrested and charged with first degree murder. The shooting happened in the 13,000 block of River Road Tuesday night. Police say a verbal argument between Goff and Lossett escalated into the shooting. Lossett died from gunshot wounds to the chest.

Goff is being held at the Harrison County Jail with no bond.
