Shooting leaves one man dead in Harrison County

A late night shooting leaves one man dead and another in custody in Harrison County.
According to Sheriff Troy Peterson, 19-year-old David Ryals is behind bars after allegedly shooting Blake Carroll. The victim was flown to USA Medical Center, but died in the hospital around 4 this morning.
The shooting occurred around 11 last night on Sap Root Road in Pass Christian. Ryals has been charged with aggravated assault, but Sheriff Peterson tells News 25 those charges are expected to be upgraded to murder later today.
Ryals’ bond is currently set at $250,000.
