Shooting in Jackson County

Jackson County Sheriff’s Investigators are on the scene of a shooting that happened around 6:30 Tuesday evening on Independence Road in the Fort Lakes community.

Sheriff Mike Ezell says a person is in custody being questioned, as well as witnesses. No victim has yet been located.
