Shooting in Gulfport
At 5:30 this afternoon, Gulfport police responded to a shooting at French Oak Apartments on 43rd Avenue.
A verbal altercation between two adult males broke out and then shots were fired. An adult female was shot in the upper torso. She was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. She is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The shooter fled the scene. This shooting is still under investigation.
