Shooting At Moss Point

Police are searching for a black male who fired shots inside a Social Security Office around 11am off Highway 63 in Moss Point.

Police Chief Art McClung tells News 25 the suspect was not happy inside the store, walked out to his car and grabbed a gun.

He then walked back inside the Social Security Office and fired 3 or 4 shots in the air.
He did not direct the gun to anyone and there were no reported injuries.

The man left the office and drove away in his white Chrysler 300.

Authorities are working on locating the vehicle and the suspect at the moment.
Chief McClung says the crime is a misdemeanor.
