Shoe drive to raise money for youth leadership program

We are joined by Darnell Penney to talk about the St. Oaks Shoe Drive benefiting the youth leadership initiative.

St. Oaks Care Center and Home Care Agency, LLC and Picayune Chamber of  Commerce are working together to conduct a shoe drive fundraiser on September 1st, 2024 through November 1st, 2024 to raise funds for the “Youth Leadership Program”.

They will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes. Those dollars will benefit the Youth Leadership of Pearl River County.

Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used and new shoes at St Oaks Care Center.

Shoe drop off locations include:

  • FNB Picayune
