Sheriff Troy Peterson joins News 25 to talk cancer diagnosis, retirement, accomplishments

The month of March is known as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

The American Cancer Society reports colon cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both men and women in the United States.

What many people on the Coast may not have known is that Sheriff Troy Peterson has been fighting that exact cancer for a year now.  

Sheriff Troy Peterson is in studio with News 25’s Lori Buhring to discuss his cancer diagnose, retirement, and his accomplishments over the years.
