Shelters opening in anticipation of potential severe weather

Due to the increased possibility of severe weather this afternoon and overnight, saferooms are opening across cities in South Mississippi.

Due to forecast inclement weather this afternoon and evening; All three community saferooms in Pearl River County will open at 3:00 PM ( March 4th, 2025) and remain open until the threat of severe weather has passed. Pets are not allowed. Please bring anything you may need (food, water, etc.).
