Former Michigan and Ole Miss QB Shea Patterson cut by Kansas City Chiefs

Former Ole Miss and later Michigan Quarterback Shea Patterson is in the market for a new job.

Today, the Kansas City Chiefs cut the former Rebel, just hours after agreeing to terms with back-up Matt Moore.

Patterson was a standout at this year’s Senior Bowl, but went unselected in the 2020 NFL Draft before signing with KC after the fact.

Of the 337 players that attended the combine, the former five star recruit was actually the last player to get picked or signed as an undrafted free agent.

Ole Miss alum Jordan Ta’Amu is now third on the depth chart behind Moore and Patrick Mahomes, who just signed a ten year extension for up to $503 million, the richest contract in pro sports history.
