Sexual Battery Arrest – Eliezer Beamen

On May 22, 2018 the Gulfport Police Department arrested 26 year old Eliezer Manoah Beamen, of Gulfport, charging him with one count of felony Sexual Battery (Bond $50,000 obtained from Harrison County Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner) and one count of misdemeanor False Information (Bond $677.25) .

On May 21, 2018, the Gulfport Police Department was contacted regarding a complaint of sexual battery against Beamen. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Bullis Ave on May 21, 2018. An adult female known to Beaman stated that Beaman touched her inappropriately while she slept. A Gulfport Detective investigated the incident which led to a warrant being obtained. Beamen was contacted by Gulfport Patrol Officers on May 22, 2018 at approximately 3:26 a.m. Beamen gave a false name to Officers during the encounter. Beamen’s identity was ascertained by Officers on the scene. Beamen was arrested, processed, and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
