Sex Offender Registration Failure

A 74-year-old man is behind bars on felony charges for failing to give his correct address when registering as a sex offender.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson tells News 25 Archie McManus Jr. of Long Beach put a false address after he was advised he could not reside within 3,000 feet of a school.
McManus lives in the 19,000 block of Marion Lane in Long Beach and did not move once he registered the new address.
McManus was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center Facility and charged with one count of sex offender registration failure and one count of sex offender.
He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
