Several in custody after shots fired report near Leap of Faith Private School in Pascagoula
On March 21st, 2022 at 11:50 a.m., dispatchers received a call of a disturbance in the area of Martin Road in Pascagoula.
Officers patrolling the area heard shots being fired. They quickly arrived on scene and located several subjects, which are being detained for questioning.
The Leap of Faith Private School and the El Taller del Maestro Church were put on lockdown while officers secured the building and safely evacuated teachers and students.
At this time, there is no danger to the public and arrests are pending.
This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Pascagoula Criminal Investigations Division.
