Seventh annual Gulf Coast Oyster Cook-off and Festival

The seventh annual Gulf Coast Oyster Cook-off and Festival in Biloxi is this weekend.

Guests can enjoy oysters from various restaurants set up, alongside their favorite beer. There will be live music from four bands, a Corvette show, and a crafts booth. There’s something for everyone in the family.

The festival is at Point Cadet Plaza in Biloxi from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Clear Vision Entertainment Owner Glenn Mattina tells News 25 that this year will feel more like the festival pre-pandemic. “This is our first year actually being completely out of the COVID funk for us. So, we have eight restaurants this year. We’ve extended our hours instead of ending right before daylight. We’re growing getting out of that COVID and starting to grow and hopefully getting back to being a two-day event here in the next year or two.”

Admission at the gate is $10. It’s $25 for an oyster-sampling pass.
