Seventh annual Bow Wow Pawrade happening Sunday in Biloxi

Grab a leash and your four-legged friend and bring them to a Mardi Gras parade just for them!

This Sunday, the Krewe of Barkloxi presents their seventh annual Bow Wow Pawrade. The pawrade is presented by the Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, The Humane Society of South Mississippi, and Tito’s Vodka.

If you register your dog before Friday, you’ll get the early bird fee of $15. Registration is available on HSSM.org or by visiting the shelter on Highway 49 in Gulfport. You can also register at the Biloxi Visitors Center.

All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of South Mississippi. HSSM Development Director Katie King said, “Last year we had around 127 dogs participate in the pawrade, so we encourage everyone to come out and bring their pets and we will also have pets available for adoption that day if you don’t already have one.”

The pawrade will take place at Biloxi Town Green Sunday at 11 a.m.
