Services planned for George County Sheriff’s Deputy Bobby Daffin

Friends, family, and law enforcement brothers and sisters will gather to mourn the loss of George County Sheriff’s Deputy Bobby Daffin one week from today.

Thirty-seven-year-old Deputy Daffin passed away August 12th after a battle with COVID-19.

Services begin Monday, August 23rd with visitation from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Agricola Baptist Church in Lucedale.

The funeral service will immediately follow at the church. Daffin will be buried at W.R. Clark Cemetery in Forts Lake.

Due to COVID concerns, masks are required for everyone in attendance.

His obituary reads in part: “He was dedicated to serving others and proudly served as a narcotics officer with the George County Sheriff’s Department. He loved his family and was a devoted father to his daughter Bentley.”
