Services announced for Father Dennis Carver
Funeral arrangements have been announced for a beloved retired South Mississippi priest.
Father Dennis Carver died Sunday, August 10 after a short battle with lung cancer.
Visitation will be held from 10 to noon Monday, August 18 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, followed immediately by a funeral mass.
The Bay St. Louis native served as pastor of many catholic parishes and many other roles in the Diocese of Biloxi after his ordination as a priest in 1994, including as rector of Nativity BVM Cathedral before his retirement in 2022.
