Sentenced to Life in Prison without Possibility of Parole

Life in prison without parole: this is the verdict handed down this morning for Sellers Johnson’s role in the 2013 execution style murder of Joshua Cuellar, who was 15 at the time he was killed.
Three others, Damon Clark, Earnest Pope, Deaundre Holmes, also were sentenced after entering guilty pleas for their participation in the crime. Clark was sentenced to 40 years with 15 suspended. Pope was sentenced to 20 years and Holmes received 20 years with 10 suspended and 10 years to serve as an accessory to the crime.
Cuellar was shot seven times after he fought off the three teens attempt to rob him after Cuellar had given them a ride to a home improvement store.
