Sentenced to life for 2015 murder
Twenty-seven year-old Chris Fairley was found guilty of murder by a jury in Harrison County from a 2015 July murder. The jury deliberated for just over an hour before reaching a guilty verdict.
Testimony showed the defendant had an ongoing feud with his 21-year-old cousin Mark Fairley. On July 15th, 2015 the two engaged in a verbal argument on Eisenhower Drive in Biloxi. The defendant went to his truck to grab his gun. He walked toward the victim and shot him once in the leg while he was in the passenger seat of his vehicle. The victim fled when Fairley followed him and shot him several more times.
After the guilty verdict, Chris Fairley was sentenced to life in prison.
