Sentenced for two counts of child exploitation in Jackson County

A Jackson County man has been sentenced in a sexual exploitation case.

Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch says John Rouse has been sentenced to five years behind bars and 25 years of post-release supervision for two counts of child exploitation.

Rouse must also register as a sex offender.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the execution of the search warrant in this case.
