Seniors celebrate at the Mardi Gras Bash in Biloxi

In Biloxi, seniors were all dressed up in their Mardi Gras outfits, ready to partake in a fun-filled day at the Donal Snyder Community Center.

Senior citizens socialized and enjoyed a lunch that included chicken tenders, sandwiches, and meatballs. For dessert they ate king cake.

The DJ played music while some of the seniors let loose on the dance floor.

A raffle was also going to offer the guests a chance to win some cool Mardi Gras shirts, hats, and umbrellas. Lillian Gantz said, “Mardi Gras is a fun time. I don’t celebrate myself, but when I come here, I have a good time. I just go crazy. It’s a fun place to be. You see people all dressed up.”

Aetna Health Care Company was also at the bash, passing out information.
