Senator Thad Cochran on Nuclear Deal
Today, U.S. Senator Thad Cochran declared his opposition to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. He expressed his opposition to the international agreement reached by the Obama administration that will allow the Islamic Republic of Iran to maintain some nuclear capabilities, while having economic sanctions lifted.
Cochran says: “The agreement falls woefully short of the international goal to improve global security by stopping Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions.”
