Senator Cochran’s Statement on Executive Order
After Obama’s orders, Mississippi U.S. Senator Thad Cochran released a response calling the president’s orders a “unilateral decision to push his gun control agenda through executive fiat.” He also said it’s “not conducive to finding consensus on policies to ensure public safety and fight violent crime.”
Cochran says he expects the president’s decision to be “challenged by Congress and in the courts.”
