Senator Cindy Hyde Smith reaffirms her support for a permanent Daylight Savings Time.

Senator Hyde-Smith announced she is pushing to make Daylight Savings Time permanent across the United States.

She joins Florida Senator Rick Scott as a co-sponsor of the Sunshine Protection Act of 2025.

The effort would end the clock-changing ritual of springing forward and falling back.
