Senate candidate hosts Coast listening tour

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- One of the Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate in Mississippi kicked off his listening tour in Biloxi Wednesday morning.

Scott Colom is one of three candidates on the Democratic primary ballot for the seat currently held by Mississippi’s junior senator Cindy Hyde Smith.

Colom connected with voters at the Hancock Whitney Bank branch in Downtown Biloxi for his ‘Mississippi Matters’ tour, one of three Coast stops he’s making Wednesday.

Colom is also meeting with voters in Gulfport at the Handsboro Community Center at 4:30 this afternoon and at 6:30 in Moss Point at Tootsie on the River.
