Security and traffic plans for Bikin’ the Beach in Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- We’re now entering day two of Bikin’ the Beach with Bike Central located near Treasure Bay in Biloxi.

With an influx of bikers expected this weekend, event organizers and police officials are talking about security and traffic measures this weekend.

This is Bikin’ the Beach’s first year in action, with music acts and other festivities taking place all along Biloxi Beach all weekend long.

Biloxi police have implemented a traffic plan that will be put into effect along Highway 90 in the event of congestion or heavy traffic.

Bikin’ the Beach runs through Sunday along Biloxi Beach.
