A second Mississippian has been identified as one of the victims killed in the terror attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.

Governor Tate Reeves posted his condolences to both Mississippi victims on his Facebook page.

25-year-old Matthew Tenedorio, a graduate of Pearl River Central High School, has been identified as the second victim in the attack. 18-year-old Nikyra Dedeaux of Gulfport was also killed in the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street.

The FBI is investigating the attack after authorities say the driver of a pickup truck sped through a crowd of pedestrians in the French Quarter on New Year’s Day, killing at least 15 and injuring about 30 others.

Tenedorio’s family has set up a GoFundMe account. Click here for more information.

WXXV will provide a link to Dedeaux’s GoFundMe as soon as one becomes available.
