Second Liner Mardi Gras Club holds backpack giveaway

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- It’s back to school season now. The Second Liners Mardi Gras Club hosted their annual backpack giveaway at John Henry Beck Park on Saturday.

The event provided kids in the community with a free backpack just before the new school year starts.

The Second Liners Mardi Gras Club wanted all kids to be able to start their school year off strong.

Throughout the year, the Second Liners Mardi Gras Club supports several community and charitable causes like this backpack drive.
