Second annual Bark’N Good Time event kicks off

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Kennel Club kicked off their second annual Bark’N Good Times event today.

Events will begin each day at 8 a.m.

There are a variety of things to do at the Bark’N Good Time. Events will include fast cat, which is a 100-yard timed event for your dog, beginner puppy competitions, two sanction B matches, two open shows for foundation stock service.

There will also be miscellaneous breeds on Saturday and Sunday as well as AKC temperament tests on Saturday and canine good citizen testing on Sunday.  MS Gulf Coast Kennel Club President Charles Stewart said, “This event is great to outreach to our community because you don’t have to have a pure breed dog to do these events. Anyone can come and do the events. You just have to have your dog altered or a paw number.”

All dogs entering the events must be registered with the American Kennel Club.
