Second Amendment Holiday Weekend

Today marks the beginning of the Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday weekend here in Mississippi.
From now until Sunday, items such as pistols, shotguns, ammunition, archery equipment and more are exempt from the normal state sales tax.
Hunters and gun enthusiasts wasted no time taking advantage of the opportunity to save a couple of extra dollars.
Staff at Dad’s Super Pawn in Gulfport say they’re expecting an even busier weekend than previous years. Dad’s Super Pawn President Kevin Riley said, “It’s been a great day, absolutely fantastic. The store is packed full. We expect a really great day today, tomorrow and Sunday. I think everybody should go out and enjoy the sportsman tax free weekend. There’s a lot of great places to shop. Dad’s Super Pawn is the greatest of them all.”
In addition to the tax free holiday, many stores are running specials to help buyers save even more money.
