SEC remains open to football in the fall
The SEC buying some time on Monday with no formal decision coming out of the in-person meeting held in Birmingham, Alabama.
However, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey is reiterating that “critical decisions” will be made later this month, according to a release.
The Big 10 and Pac-12 have already shifted to a conference-only model schedule, but the SEC had no common games with the Big 10 and only two with the Pac-12.
The other main talking point revolved around COVID-19 testing procedures.
