Search is still on for Masked Shooter

Police are still searching for the person who shot a cashier in Pascagoula.
An unidentified man wearing a mask shot a woman in the back while attempting to rob a Murphy Express gas station Thursday.
The woman was sent to a New Orleans hospital and was last reported in stable condition.
The Murphy Express gas station is near the corner of Chicot Street and Highway 90.
The suspect’s mask is in the crime lab getting tested for DNA samples. Authorities are hoping the tests will reveal the shooter’s identity. Lt. Doug Adams with Pascagoula PD said, “Investigators are still following leads. We’ve gotten several leads over the weekend. People calling in, gotten a few tips on different things. We’re following up. We do not have a suspect in custody, but they are still diligently working.”
Police are looking for a black male weighing somewhere from 160 to 170 pounds and standing at about six feet tall. Anyone with any information should call the Pascagoula Police Department at 228-762-2211.
