Scratch Kitchen shooting suspect waives preliminary hearing

The suspect in the Scratch Kitchen and Bar shooting has waived his preliminary hearing.

Twenty-two-year-old Fa’Darius Williams decided to forego the hearing and instead will await the decision of a Jackson County grand jury.

Williams is in the Jackson County Jail with no bond, charged with one count of murder, and four counts of aggravated assault in the May 5th shooting that left 19-year-old Chayse Harmon dead and five others injured.

A grand jury will now review the facts of the case and decide whether or not to indict Williams in the shooting case.
