Scrapin the Coast returns Friday

It’s almost that time of year again where the bumper meets the road!

This Friday, Scrapin the Coast will be back at the Coliseum celebrating 21 years of car and audio shows on the Coast. The event is popularly known for low riders, hot rods, and family fun.

There will be car and truck shows, the return of the hydraulics competition, a cornhole tournament, a burnout competition, a sound stereo competition, and more.

With more than 2,000 cars participating, Organizer Eric Kendrick is thankful for the City of Biloxi’s support. “The chief of police, the city fire chief, everybody’s been on board. We’ve had meetings with city council yesterday. So, they’re very supportive of our event. They’re going to help us as much as we can.”

Scrapin the Coast will also be hosting a burnout competition this weekend at the Gulfport Dragway.
