Schools adjusting schedules ahead of potential severe weather threat

Due to the threat of severe weather, schools that are in session today will be adjusting their schedule.

William Carey University’s Hattiesburg and Tradition/Biloxi campuses will close at 2 p.m. today. All campus activities are canceled for the remainder of the day.

Schools in the Poplarville School District are dismissing early today. The Poplarville Upper and Lower Elementary schools let out at 1:45 this afternoon. The middle and high schools will dismiss at 2 p.m.
