Long Beach High School Holds College and Career Fair

What do you want to do with your future?
That was the question posed to students at Long Beach High School this morning at their college and career fair. Students from all grades took to the gym to start or continue the road to figure out what they’ll do after high school. MGCCC, USM, along with Long Beach Police Department and different branches of the armed forces all banded together to show the opportunities out there for our youth.
Seniors who have already decided on their future attended as well and had one piece of advice for their younger peers. Senior Peyton Stubbs said, “Take it seriously, you do need the experience. Of course you are young but do take it seriously because it can help you in the long run. You do get to talk to certain people and those people have connections with other people so you get to have job interviews and internships. Certain things that will help you put your foot in the door, starting off as a senior in high school and going into college.”
The school also premiered their new Long Beach license tags. They can be bought at www.lbsdk12.com.
