School Burglary in Jackson County

Investigators with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a break in that occurred early this morning at the St. Martin Elementary School located at 16308 Lemoyne Blvd, Biloxi, MS. Deputies were called to the school at 6:55 after school staff reported to work and discovered that the school had been broken into. Further investigation revealed that the break room, library, several offices and the classroom where entry was gained were all in disarray.
A review of the school’s surveillance revealed two masked males inside and outside the school between 2:30 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. on April 22, 2016. The two suspects gained entry by breaking out a window in a classroom, where they damaged computer equipment. A vending machine was damaged in the break room, a computer was damaged in the library, and computer equipment was damaged in the office.
