Scarlet Pearl Raising of the Pearl Practice
The Scarlet Pearl Casino and Resort is hoping to start a New Year’s Eve tradition, the Raising of the Pearl.
Today, the casino did a test run to work out any kinks before the actual Raising of the Pearl. The illuminated pearl will be raised outside of the 18 story hotel tomorrow at 11:55 a.m. The pearl will continue to rise as the clock ticks down closer to the New Year.
The pearl will reach the top of the casino at midnight, setting the cue for lights, sparklers and noiseless fireworks.
