Scam targeting Jackson County Planning Commission applicants

The Jackson County government says a scam is targeting Planning Commission applicants.

A fake invoice is being sent by email, requesting the applicant to transfer large amounts of money as compensation for various items.

The Jackson County Planning Department saying they do not accept payment by wire transfer.
