Saucier man dead after motorcycle crash in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Over the weekend, a motorcycle chase in Ocean Springs turned deadly Saturday morning.

Police say 26-year-old Joseph Jereidini of Saucier was riding a Harley-Davidson when he failed to stop for a traffic stop around 12:40 a.m.

A short chase followed before Jereidini crashed into a Chrysler 300 on Highway 90. He was pronounced dead at Ocean Springs Hospital.

The two people in the car were taken to a hospital in Mobile for their injuries.

Mississippi Highway Patrol is now handling the investigation.
