‘SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’ CONTINUES SEASON 42 MOMENTUM WITH STAR-STUDDED SHOWS ON OCT. 15 & 22

NEW YORK — Oct. 7, 2016 — Emily Blunt will make her “Saturday Night Live” host debut Oct. 15. She stars in the highly anticipated film “The Girl on the Train,” which opened in theaters today.
Accompanying Blunt will be multi-Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars, who will be making his fourth appearance as musical guest. Mars’ 3rd album “24K Magic” will be released on November 18th. His first single of the same name is out today.
Actor Tom Hanks will host “SNL” for the ninth time on Oct. 22. He stars in “Sully” and the upcoming “Inferno,” which opens Oct. 28 and is the newest film in the highly popular “The Da Vinci Code” series.
Joining Hanks will be Academy Award-nominated, Grammy and Golden Globe-winning artist Lady Gaga for her third time as musical guest. Her fifth studio album, “Joanne,” is set to be released Oct. 21.
“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
