Saturday was Free Comic Book Day

Curious about comic books? Three Alarm Comics in Biloxi had an answer for that curiosity on Saturday.

In celebration of ‘National Free Comic Book Day,’ the shop hosted a party of sorts. Customers received one free comic and had the opportunity to visit with their favorite comic artists and authors.

Three Alarm Comics Owner Scott Hoverman says that making artists available to meet with fans is a cool experience. “It’s almost like meeting your favorite celebrity or stars. If you’re a comic book fan you get to meet the person who actually did the book that you’ve been reading or the character that you’ve seen on T.V. They get stuff autographed. They can get sketches from them, just have fun, talk to them, meet them, figure out what their thinking was behind when they did something, that sort of thing.”

If you’re interested in getting into comics you can follow Three Alarm Comics on their Facebook page.
