Sand in my Boots Festival takes over Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Al. (WXXV)- The new Sand in my Boots Festival has replaced Hangout Fest this year in Gulf Shores.

Though some fans were disheartened over the loss of Hangout Fest, the Sand in my Boots crowd brought the fun and boosted the local economy.

This festival featured primarily country music, but also hosted rap artists such as Money Bag Yo, T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa, and 2 Chainz.
