Sandbag locations are open across the Coast.

In preparation for Tropical Storm Francine, sandbag locations are opening across the Gulf Coast.

Self-service sandbag locations will open in Pearl River County on Tuesday, September 10th at 12 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Henleyfield-Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department Station 3 6868 Highway 43 North
  • Nicholson Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 1981 Highway 11 South
  • Pinegrove Station 2 262 Liberty Road
  • Emergency Operations Center 810 Highway 11 South

The following locations in Jackson County District 5 will have self-serve sandbags available by 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Please bring your own shovel, bags are provided.

  • Fontainebleau Fire Department – 3901 Hwy. 57 South, Ocean Springs
  • Next to St. Andrews Park – 1401 Elm Street, Ocean Springs

The following locations in Gulfport have self-serve sandbags available:

  • The corner of Hewes Avenue and Glover Street.

The Hancock County Emergency Management Agency will have self-serve sand and sand bags at the following locations beginning Tuesday, September 10th at 8 a.m. Please bring your own shovel. If you need assistance getting sand bags, please contact Hancock County EMA at 228-255-0942 or Hancock County Central Dispatch at 228-255-9191.

In Pass Christian, a self-serving sandbag location will be available starting at 7 a.m. on September 10th at:

  • 327 Clark Avenue

Harrison County will open several self-serve sandbag sites starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, September 10th. Bags and sands will be provided, but residents are required to bring their own shovels and fill the bags themselves.

  • D’Iberville Work Center-10085 1st Avenue, D’Iberville, MS
  • Woolmarket Work Center-16395 Old Woolmarket Road, Biloxi, MS

In Ocean Springs, sand and sandbags will be available Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.:

  • Ocean Springs Public Works located at 712 Pine Dr.
  • Fire Station located 3901 Highway 57 South
  • Andrews Fire Department at 1401 Elm Street

In Moss Point, sand and sand bags are located at:

  • New Central Fire Station at 4204 Bellview Street
  • Forts Lake Fire Department at 10701 Forts Lake Road
  • East Division Roads Department at 10825 Highway 63

In Gautier, sand and sand bags are located at:

  • Behind City Hall on Highway 90

In Vancleave sand and sand bags are located at:

  • Central Division Roads Department at 8500 Jim Ramsey Road

In Pascagoula, sandbags will be available at the barn at the Jackson County Fairgrounds after 8:30 AM.

In Biloxi, Self-serve sand bags (bring your own shovel) are available at:

  • Henry Beck Park, 671 Division St.
  • Migues Park, 425 Parker St.
  • A.J. Holloway Sports Complex, 765 Wells Drive
  • Fire Station 8, 8479 Woolmarket Road
  • Fire Station 9, 9370 Oaklawn Road
